Drive to Machame Gate for registration before starting your trek through lush rainforest. Walk under dense vegetation filled with birds and monkeys as you ascend steadily to Machame Camp, where your crew prepares dinner and overnight camping.
Leave the rainforest behind and enter heath and moorland zones with wide views of Mount Meru. Gradually climb across volcanic terrain to reach Shira Camp, enjoying stunning scenery and cooler mountain air.
Ascend to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This “climb high, sleep low” day helps your body adjust to altitude while offering dramatic views of volcanic formations and alpine landscapes.
Begin with the famous Barranco Wall climb before continuing across alpine desert terrain to Barafu Camp. Rest early as you prepare for your midnight summit attempt.
Start your summit push at midnight, trekking under the stars to Stella Point and onward to Uhuru Peak. Celebrate your achievement before descending through Barafu Camp to Mweka Camp for rest.
Descend through lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you receive your summit certificate. Meet your driver and transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, marking the end of your adventure.
